Clay Haynes is a network engineer who enjoys the new challenges (and opportunities!) that faces next generation of networks, both large and small. With 15 years of experience in networking and server technologies he has worked his way to becoming a Senior Network Engineer at Twitter. Before working at Twitter, Clay Haynes worked as a consultant for other companies to help them with their networking and server needs. Clay desires to design, implement and maintain the “more perfect” network for users.

Clay has earned two of the highest certifications from Juniper Networks, the JNCIE-SEC (#69) and the JNCIE-ENT (#492). He is also a certified instructor for Pulse Secure and Palo Alto Networks. He is currently an active Juniper Ambassador to provide the latest network news on multiple social media platforms. Clay Haynes has written two Juniper Day One guides to solve both old and new problems that engineers face in their networks. He was the technical editor for Juniper’s 2018 Ambassador Cookbook.

Outside of technology Clay Haynes enjoys weightlifting, rugby, soccer/football, and playing music.
